We have brought in several teapots in stoneware from Taiwan. The teapots are mostly in classic shapes from the region. An excellent alternative to Chinese Yixing teapots that can amount to very high prices.
The teapots are unglazed. The stoneware used for the teapot originated in Japan and has been tested by SGS, free of heavy metals and food safe.

Kabuse tea harvested in the spring of 2020 with origin from Kagoshima. The tea is produced by the very unusual Surugawase tea cultivar. Grown without pesticides. Kabuse tea is shaded from the sun for about 20 days, the tea becomes darker in appearance, the content of the amino acid Theanine increases and the tea assumes a sweeter taste tone. Kocha Sayamakaori
Hand-picked exclusive black tea from the first picking from Yame, Japan. The tea is grown at an altitude of about 600 meters and without the use of pesticides. The tea is from cultivar Sayamakaori, a cultivar developed from Yabukita and normally used for green teas. It gives this tea a unique taste with light aroma and hints of flowers and fruit. DARJEELING FIRST FLUSH 2020
The first harvest in Darjeeling was interrupted by a lockdown in India and the teas we received were harvested early in the spring before the lockdown. Covid 19 problems and the big storm in West Bengal then led to delivery problems and major delays. Finally, we recieved the tees. It is a good harvest of very good quality. This years harvest of the first harvest has been produced to about half, so many will be without teas.

The tea is lightly oxidized and with a light roasting. The tea is steamed and pressed into a cake. The tea is balanced and has a fruity tone to the taste.

Guang Xi Mao Jian
First plucking, hand-picked green tea harvested in the early spring of 2019. The tea is grown in Guang Xi, China by tea cultivar Fu Yun #6. A green tea with a middle bodied sweet taste, with a mild flowery aftertaste.
Bai Hao Hong Cha
Black tea grown on the Tai Mu mountain in Fuding, Fujian province of China. The tea, which partly consists of whole tea leaves, is produced by tea cultivar Da Bai Hao, the same tea cultivar as white tea is produced from. A medium-bodied tea with a scent and taste of chocolate with roasted tones.
Tie Guan Yin

Chinas most famous green tea and one of Chinas most famous teas in general, also called Long Jing. This is an affordable variety of this tea from West Lake area produced of cultivar Long Jing #43. The tea is harvested in spring 2019. In the scent you sence the roasting of the tea and a chestnut scent. The taste has a lightly roasted tone that balances with a taste of chestnut with sweet tones.
Lung Ching Shi Feng Top Grade
Authentic Shi Feng Lung Ching handpicked and hand-crafted traditionally. The tea is also called Long Jing. Classed as Chinas most famous green tea and one of Chinas most famous teas at all. A green tea with a fruity undertone, light aromatic.
Gan Zhi Taiwan
Unique green tea produced in Taiwan harvested in march 2019. The tea is hand picked and produced by tea cultivar Chin Xin Gan Zhi. The tea consist of whole leaf. Hojicha is a roasted Japanese green tea. Kuki means that the tea is produced of the stems, which adds richness to the taste. This Hojicha is produced in Kyoto, which is where this tea variant is believed to originate from. Note that Hojicha does not look or taste like other green teas, the tea has a rich roasted, smoky flavor without bitterness. Roasted taste in balance, smoky hint.

Li Shan Cui Luan
Harvested winter of 2018. The tea is hand picked, hand made and grown at an altitude of about 2500 m in Cui Luan, Li Shan, Taiwan. The tea is light oxidized. Grows on one of the highest points in Taiwan. Very well balanced tea, full-bodied, with a mild and sweet appearance with some aroma and with vegetal hints.
Bergamot Oolong
This is an oolong tea from Taiwan with small pieces of bergamot. The flavor blends well and gives a good citrus note. The tea is a form of traditional flavoring and no aromas are used for the production. Bergamot is the flavor used for flavoring Earl Grey. The tea has a very well balanced flavor with taste of bergamot.
Wen Shan Bao Zhong Oolong
Harvested in November, winter 2018. This is a very lightly oxidized oolong tea from Taiwan with a 150 year history. The tea has an oxidation rate of 10%, but the tea is deep roasted which produces a clear taste that enhances the teas aromatic sweet notes. This tea has a very intense prominent floral aroma and flavor with a lightness and greenery in the taste.
Wen Shan Bao Zhong Oolong 50 gram
Oriental Beauty
A very famous oolong tea from Taiwan, hand picked and hand made. The tea is harvested in summer 2018. The cultivar used for the production of this tea is Ching Xin. The tea is high oxidized, almost black tea with an oxidation degree of 70%. Sweet flavor with fruity tones and a long aftertaste.
Fu Shou Shan
This handpicked oolong tea from Taiwan is harvested in the winter of 2018. Fu Shou Shan is the second highest mountain peak in Li Shan mountain range. The tea is grown at an altitude of 2500 m. The cultivar used for production of this tea is Chin Shin. The tea is not roasted and is very light oxidized at a level of about 15%. Very well balanced tea, full bodied, sweetness, touch of cream, very light flowery notes with a long aftertaste.

An oolong tea from Nantou in Taiwan winter harvest year 2018. The tea is produced by Si Ji Chun cultivar. Si Ji Chun is a hardy and popular tea cultivar in Taiwan with good taste characteristics.
