Black Tea
Black tea is made by allowing tea leaves to wither and processing them to encourage oxidation before they are finally dried. Oxidation contributes to the leaves' dark colour and develops the tea's flavour and aroma. In China, black tea is called red tea, referring to the reddish colour of the brewed tea.
Black teas vary widely depending on origin and processing, from soft and floral to full-bodied, malty and robust. Here you will find our selection of black teas from different parts of the world.
