Green Tea
Green tea is made by heating tea leaves shortly after harvesting to stop oxidation. Its flavour and character vary depending on origin, cultivar and processing method.
In China, tea leaves are usually pan-fired, while in Japan they are more often steamed. This creates a wide range of flavours, from soft, nutty and floral notes to fresh, full-bodied and umami-rich teas.
