White Tea
White tea originated in China and is traditionally made by allowing tea leaves and buds to wither before drying, with very little processing. Some varieties, such as Bai Hao Yin Zhen, consist entirely of tender, unopened buds, while others also contain young leaves.
Flavours range from delicate and floral to richer and fruitier. Today, white tea is also produced in countries such as India, Nepal and Kenya.
