Da Yu Ling 50 gram

Da Yu Ling is an exclusive Taiwanese high-mountain oolong from one of Taiwan’s highest-elevation tea-growing areas. The tea is grown at elevations of approximately 2,200–2,700 metres in the mountainous region around Da Yu Ling and is produced from the Qing Xin Oolong cultivar. The leaves are hand-picked and gently oxidized to preserve the tea’s fresh and elegant high-mountain character.

The cool climate, frequent mist and considerable differences between daytime and night-time temperatures cause the tea leaves to develop slowly. This produces robust, flavor-rich leaves and a smooth, full-bodied infusion with delicate sweetness and a long aftertaste. The short growing season means that only a small number of harvests can be made each year.
