This is an exclusive hand-picked Darjeeling tea of second flush of Castleton Tea Estate. Castleton Moonlight is a famous tea from Castleton produced in very limited edition famous for its unique taste. The tea is produced of AV2 Clonal tea bushes that grows at an altitude of about 1700 meters. West Bengal, India

The tea consists largely of tips and is white and brown in appearance. Well balanced tea with a long aftertaste.

Castleton is one of the most famous and is a very well regarded Tea Estate located in South Kurseong Valley. Most of the production consists of China tea bushes. The tea bushes were planted on the Tea Estate first time in 1885 and the Tea Estate has since both changed name and owners. Castleton name comes from a building in Kurseong.

Taste: Sweet, mild taste with hints of dried fruit. Well balanced tea with a long aftertaste.
Appearance: The tea consists largely of tips and delivers a golden brew.

Steeping Suggestion

Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 6 grams of tea. Pour in 100° C water and let it steep for 1,5 minute.
2dl teapot - use about 3 grams of tea. Pour in 100° water and let it steep for 1,5 minute.
Second steeping 1.5 minutes, 1.5 minutes third steeping. Make sure the water temperature does not drop, the flavor develops with the heat.

The tea will hold for a couple steepings on the same leaves.
