Oriental Beauty 50 gram

A very famous oolong tea from Taiwan, hand picked and hand made. The tea is harvested in summer 2025. The cultivar used for the production of this tea is Ching Xin. The tea is high oxidized, almost black tea with an oxidation degree of 70%.

The tea is grown at a relatively low altitude, is harvested in summer and without pesticide to promote a growth of the insect Jacobiasca formosana Paoli. The tea bushes are attacked and bitten by the insect that causes a reaction on the leaves and contributes to the unique sweetness of this tea.

Legend says that the tea is said to be named by the British Queen Elizabeth II, who found a liking to this tea.
