Black tea
Orthodox Assam tea from Madhuting. Madhuting is a small producer in Upper Assam. Grading is TGFOP1 SPL. The SPL designation indicates an extra-select selection within the grade.
Assam is distinguished in taste from other black teas, and is a variant of tea bush called Camellia Sinensis var. assamica. Assam tea is generally grown at lower altitudes.
Origin: Dibrugarh, Assam, India
Taste: The tea has a strong full bodied taste.
Appearance: Black tea, golden tips, golden brew.
Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 5 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 40 seconds.
2dl teapot - use about 2.5 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 40 seconds.
Second steeping 40 seconds.
Third steeping 40 seconds.
The tea will hold for several steepings on the same leaves.
