This is an orthodox Assam tea from Hattialli. Hattialli is translated to "Elephant is coming", the Tea Estate is in an area that had a high population of elephants.

Assam is distinguished in taste from other black teas, and is a variant of tea bush called Camellia Sinensis var. assamica. Assam tea is generally grown at lower altitudes.

Taste: The tea has a strong full bodied taste.
Appearance: Black tea, golden tips, golden brew.

Steeping Suggestion

Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 5 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 40 seconds.
2dl teapot - use about 2.5 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 40 seconds.
Second steeping 40 seconds.
Third steeping 40 seconds.

The tea will hold for several steepings on the same leaves.
