White tea
A very unusual white tea from Taiwan pressed to a cake. Young tea leaves were handpicked in spring 2022 in Nantou in Taiwan to produce the tea. The tea bushes are grown without the use of pesticides. The tea that we buy directly from the producer, is entirely handmade with tea leaves that are fluffed and allowed to oxidize light, and then dried.

Nantou, Taiwan

The tea cultivar Red Jade, Hong Yu used for the production of this tea is usually used to produce the black tea Red Jade. The cultivar is a hybrid of Assamica from Burma and wild local tea bushes, and is called TTES no. 18th
