Sencha Tokiwagi is produced from Yabukita cultivar harvested year 2018, Ichibancha. This is an exclusive japanese Sencha tea from Wazuka. The tea is produced by traditional methods and is harvested by hand and produced mostly by hand. It has very beautiful dark emerald green leaves that comes from tea beeing shaded from the sun for a short period before harvest.
Wazuka is known for high quality production of green tea, and tea has been grown in this region since the 1200's. Production of Japanese tea has it's beginning in this region. Tea in Wazuka has since then been grown in the same traditional way.
Sweet taste, mild appearance, umami, very well balanced.
