Korean Green Tea - Nokcha Sacheon Woojeon
OUT OF STOCK!
Exclusive Korean hand-picked green tea harvested in the spring of 2014 from Sacheon in South Korea.
This tea is steamed as part of the manufacturing process as opposed to roasting. This is somewhat unusual for teas from Korea, and gives the tea a unique appearance reminiscent of a Japanese tea, but the tea flavor also has the typical Korean taste of green tea.
The tea is Woojeon, which means first flush. Korean teas have three terms. Woojeon, Saejak and Joongjak. First Flush, Second Flush and Third Flush.
Korean teas are very rare in the market and prices are high. Teas are grown exclusively on the southern tip of South Korea where the soil and the temperature is suitable for growing tea.
