First flush Darjeeling tea from Makaibari Tea Estate of classic type. The Tea Estate is Fairtrade certified and eco certified. The tea bushes grows here at about 1500 m height.

Makaibari is located in South Kurseong, Darjeeling and was established in 1870 beeing one of the oldest tea estates in Darjeeling. The tea is grown using Biodynamic methods.

Taste: The tea has a deep aromatic scent of bloom, the flavor is mild, aromatic with a floral hint and a sweet note of caramel.
Appearance: This high-quality Darjeeling emits a beautiful golden-colored brew and has green leaves in color.

Steeping Suggestion

Steeping instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 6 grams of tea. Pour in 100° water and let it steep for 1.5 minutes.
2dl teapot - use about 3 grams of tea. Pour in 100° water and let it steep for 1.5 minutes.
Second steeping 2 minutes, third steeping increase the time to 3 minutes. Make sure the temperature of the water does not drop, taste evolves with heat.
