Black tea
A high quality black tea from the first picking from the island of Tokunoshima in Japan. The tea is of cultivar Benifuuki. Benifuuki is an Assamhybrid used for black tea or oolong teas in Japan. A rarity from Japan from a small scale producer.

Kagoshima, Japan

Japan was a producer of black tea until 1955. After 1955 the competition was too hard and Japanese black tea stopped producing. Today only a small production remains to meet domestic market, black tea is not normally exported.

Steeping Suggestion

Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 6 grams of tea. Pour in 100 ° water and let it steep for 1.5 minutes.
