Handpicked yellow tea Huo Shan Huang Ya, first picking harvest in spring of 2021 of highest grade. The tea is grown at an altitude of 800m. The cultivar used is Huoshan Morning, a traditional cultivar often used for this yellow tea in Huo Mountain region.

Yellow tea has a long tradition in China and just a few teas are classified as yellow. This tea is classified as yellow, but the taste is a lot like a green tea.

Yellow tea differs in manufacturing process from a green tea by a slower and different drying phase that gives the tea its unique taste.







Origin: Da Hua Ping, Huo Shan County, An Hui province in China.
Flavor: The tea has a high level of sweetness and a very mild taste.
Appearance: The combination of leaves and buds with two leaves.

Steeping Suggestion

Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 8 grams of tea. Pour in 80 °C water and let it steep for 2,5 minutes.
2dl teapot - use about 4 grams of tea. Pour in 80 °C water and let it steep for 2,5 minutes.

Second steeping 3 minutes.
Third steeping 3,5 minutes.
