Tokoname Kyusu Hokujo

This teapot is made by Hokujo, one of the most skilled Japanese masters from the well known Tokoname.

This teapot is aesthetic, elegant and very well-made. The teapot has a sieve built in the spout. The teapot has a wave pattern around which is created using seaweed. The lid has an exact fit around. The teapot is incredibly light with thin walls.

Hokujo Shimizu born 1945 was recognized as a traditional Japanese craftsman of the Japanese state in 1991 and has received a lot of awards for his craft.
Dimensions: The teapot is about 7 cm high and 10 cm wide, with a volume of 160 ml. NOTE the teapot is very small!
