Black tea
This black tea from Taiwan is a hand-picked and very unique black tea. The tea is picked by a wild tea cultivar that also has been used to develop some of the cultivars currently used for other black teas in Taiwan. Tea from this cultivar is rarely exported outside Taiwan.

Nantou, Taiwan

The tea bushes are growing in the Yu Chi mountainous area at an altitude of between 1000 - 1500 m and are picked from July to August. As the tea bushes grow wild, they become bitten by insects that contribute to its sweet taste.

The tea bushes produce a tea with very complex sweet notes with hints of honey.









Origin: Yuchih, Nantou, Taiwan
Taste: The taste is fresh, complex sweet with hints of honey.
Appearance: Whole dark leaves, rolled.

Steeping Suggestion

Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 6 grams of tea. Pour in 95 °C water and let it steep for 1 minute.
2dl teapot - use about 3 grams of tea. Pour in 95 °C water and let it steep for 1 minute.
Second steeping 1.5 minutes.
Third steeping 2.5 minutes. Make sure the water temperature does not drop, the flavor develops with the heat.

The tea is suited for a lot of steepings on same leaves.
