Green Tea
An Ji Bai Cha is a very famous green tea from An Ji in China. This tea is Pre-Qing Ming first picking harvested in spring 2023 and is of very high quality. This authentic An Ji Bai Cha is picked and carefully manufactured by hand using traditional methods. The tea is of cultivar Bai Ye Yi Hao. Grown without the use of pesticides.

This tea is classified by many as a white tea, but the tea is green. Bai Cha means white tea, but is implying to the very special and unique tea bush that is used for production of this tea.

An Ji Bai Cha is very bright due to its low chlorophyll content and consists of up to four times the amount of the amino acid Theanine. Theanine is one of the amino acids in tea. Our An Ji Bai Cha is authentic An Ji Bai Cha cultivar produced from older tea bushes. The production of authentic handmade An Ji Bai Cha is very limited. When the tea is prepared the color of the green leaves lightens.

This tea has a very light, smooth and pleasant taste with a reminder of roasted chestnuts, it has an incredible fragrance of freshness, and can withstand several steeping's on the same tea leaves. This tea is unique and a must for all tea lovers.

Steeping Suggestion

Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 8 grams of tea. Pour in 80 °C water and let it steep for 2.5 minutes.
2dl teapot - use about 4 grams of tea. Pour in 80 °C water and let it steep for 2.5 minutes.
Second steeping 3,5 minutes.
Third steeping 4,5 minutes.
